A Grounding Breath Before Movement

A simple breathwork practice for arriving before yoga, strength work, or recovery.

Before moving, take a moment to arrive.

Try three slow breaths with one hand on your chest and one hand on your belly. Notice where your breath naturally goes first. Let the next inhale be a little wider, and let the exhale soften your shoulders.

This does not need to be complicated. A few intentional breaths can help you listen more clearly before asking your body to work.
